Dr Zofia Bednarowska

A PhD degree received in the Department of Sociology of Economy, Education and Research Methods at the Institute of Sociology. Part of her PhD studies was completed at the Lancaster University. Her research interests are focused on the spatial econometrics, regional studies, spatiality, mobilities, consumer behaviour theory, data visualisation, research methodology. Her PhD was supervised by prof. Jarosław Górniak and dr hab. Katarzyna Kopczewska. During research stays she was supervised by prof. Monika Buscher (Lancaster University) and prof. Christopher Mele (UB).

Zofia holds a degree in Political Science, Interfaculty Studies in Humanities and Sociology with a specialisation in Social Research and Data Analysis from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. During her studies she was a member of the Senate of the Jagiellonian University. Graduate of the interdisciplinary Ph.D. studies „Society – Environment – Technologies" financed by the EU. She's a Teaching Assistant for Statistical Data Analysis, Quantitative Methods in Social Research, and MS Excel and IBM SPSS Statistics in Social Research. Worked over 5 years in a consulting&research sector, responsible for projects management, research design and data analysis.
