Dr Zofia Bednarowska

Doctor in social science. The PhD thesis was written under the supervision of two promoters: prof. Jarosława Górniaka (UJ) i dr. hab Katarzyny Kopczewskiej (UW).
During the internships abroad she was working under the supervision of prof. Monika Buscher (Lancaster University) i prof. Christoper Mele (University at Buffalo).

Her research concerns the spatial inexualities in the regional development, aplication of the spatial econometrics, the importance and significance of the mobility and consumption in 
regional development and the social research quantatitive methods.

Dr Szymon Czarnik

He is studying in the Instutute of Sociology since 1995, first as student, Phd student, assistant and currently lecturer. 
In 2007 he defended a doctoral dissertation on 'Justice and equality in the distribution of earned goods', basing on the experimental research of the redistribution of incomes.

Lecturer in the Institute of Sociology, he gives lectures on the metodology of the social research and statistic data analysis. 

He cooperated with the Higher School for Management and Banking in Kraków, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg as well as Tischner European University. 
He participated in multiple research projects concerning the public policy and marketing as consultant and analyst. 

His scientific research concerns metodology as well as application of game theory in the social science and praxeological analysis of government activities. 
He is an English translator of the publications including authors such as: Ludwik von Mises, Tomasz Sowell, Ferdynand de Soto i Ryszard Pipes.

Dr Magdalena Jelonek

Lecturer at the Department of Sociology of the University of Economics in Kraków. 
During the last 4 years she participated in 8 research projects financed from the public sources (including the funds for science), as the member for the research team or the project coordinator. 
She is a substantive coordinator of two research modules (research study on students and the fields of study) in one of the biggest projects monitoring the changes in the competence structure on the labour market - Human Capital Study in Poland.

Dr Seweryn Krupnik

Doctor of sociology at the Jagiellonian University. Doctoral dissertation was dedicated to evaluation of the investment grants for the enterprises. 

He studied Project Management at the Tischner European University as well as Antioch College (USA) and the Goethe University (Germany). He combines the scientific activities with the implementation of projects in the field of public policies.

He collaborates with the Marshal Office of Malopolska Region, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, Regional Centre for Social Policy in Kraków, Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, Erasmus Student Network AIBSL and Regional Labour Office in Kraków. Certificated project coordinator and trainer. Coordinator and expert in multiple projects in the field of public policies aiming at supporting the enterprises.

He gives lectures at the Jagiellonian University on the project management, methodology of the social research and evaluation. He was a director of CEAPP from 2015 till 2018. The member of the Revision Committee for the Polish Evaluation Association.

Dr Piotr Prokopowicz
Dr Piotr Prokopowicz is a psychologist and organization sociologist. He is a lecturer in the Department of Sociology of Ecomomy, Education and Social Research Methods. 
He collaborates with the Centre for Eveluation and Analysis of Public Policies and he is a Post Doctoral Fellow w Culture Lab at the Faculty of Psychology University of Maryland.
Co-founder and partner in Freenovation, the training and consulting company performing diagnosis and implementing the culture of innovation.

Dr Konrad Turek

Doctor in sociology, researcher and the analyst of labour market. He graduated from Instutute of Sociology, the Department of Sociology of Economy, Education and Social Research Methods.

Under the supervision of Prof. Jarosław Górniak he defended the doctoral dissertation analysing the role of the employers on shaping the situation of the older people on the labour market.
He was a member of the Human Capital Study team, implementing one of the biggest research of the labour market in Poland, where he was responsible for the research of population.
Main fields of the scientific interests include sociology of economy, labour market issues and  changes, unemployment, process of aging of the population, age management, knowledge based economy, life long learning, research methodology, a pragmatic approach in sociology and statistical analysis of data, analysis of the panel data.

He gradudated from ICPSR Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research at the University of Michigan as well as ECPR School in Methods and Techniques in Vienna. Specialist in the field of research methodology and statistics. Author and co-author of approximately 40 articles, on the labour market, aging of the society, articles in foreign magazines, ministry list and chapters of the foreign monographic publications.
He participated in multiple international research projects. He i san author of the governmental strategy for period 2013-2020 „Solidarity of the Generations – Activities for the increasing of the professional activity
of the population aged 50+” where he was taking care of the subject: increasing of the competences and life long learning.

He was the main assistant in international project „Activating the potential of the older perope in the aging Europe” (ASPA) in 7th Framework Programme. He participated in the project  "The Policy Ideas and Practice of Ageing" on aging policy in multiple european countries.  "Between Job and Care" (combining the caretaking responsibilities in older age). "I work  – I develop competences" (innovative model of the support for workers aged 50+.

He participated in Polish-German project  „The making of the mature entrepreneur: life course perspective on entrepreneurship in older age in Germany and Poland” financed by the German Research Community (DFG).
In 2017 he received research and development grant in prestigious European contest „Horizon 2020 – Maria Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship”.

He participated in project Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI) in Hague under supervision of Prof. Kéne Henkens.Project „LEEP – Longitudinal employer–employee perspectives on the role of human capital investments for retirement transitions” is analysing the effects of investment in human capital of the older generation and the process of retirement.

Basing on the international quantitative panel research it analyses the issue from the workers and employers perspective. During the course of sociology he participated in the activities of the Science Club of the Students of Sociology. He was coordinating the Section of The Social Research.

He was granted with Doctus scholarship, scholarship for the best PhD students and tha award for the scientific achievements as well as the award for the best essay summarizing the 50 years of European integration. He was a lecturer in the Instutute of Sociology UJ as well as Tischner European University.

Dr hab. Barbara Worek

Doctor of sociology (the doctoral dissertation was dedicated to social participation on the local level, she graduated from the Jagiellonian University.

She studied theology at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków. Since 1996 till 2001 she was working in the Institute for the Market Research and Public Opinion CEM in Kraków, where she was leading the research projects and specialized in the qualitative research (moderating of the focus groups, analysis of the qualitative data).

Since 2003 till 2011 she was working as lecturer in Tischner European University, where she was giving didactic lectures on the methodology of the social research.

Since 1998 she works in the Institute of Sociology at the Jagiellonian University, conducting scientific research and the didactic lectures connected with the methodology of the social research and marketing research and the analysis of the public policies. She gained the research experience participating in Polish and international research projects in the field of public policy analysis, social exclusion, social participation, labour market and life long learning. She was conducting trainings on evaluation and methodology of the qualitative research. ,

She is an author and co-author of the publications concerning the usage of the qualitative methods in the social research and marketing as well as multiple research reports in the field of public policies, social economy, life long learning. She concentrates her work on the fields such as life long learning, social exclusion and the quality of human capital.

She is the CEAPP representative in the Council for the Competences of the Development Services Sector.

Mgr Krzysztof Kasparek

He graduated from sociology with specialization in social research and data analysis. He also graduated from psychology in the Institute of Psychology UJ in the specialization in court psychology. Since 2012 he is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology of Economy, Education and Social Research Methods in Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University. He graduated from the course of studies on the educational measurement at the Faculty of Philosophy as well as summer school in the quantitative methods in social science ICPSR at the University of Michigan.

Since 2010 he participates in the initiative Science is a Human Thing. Since 2011 he is a member of the association Collegium Invisibile.

Elgars Felcis

He received a distinction at the bachelor diploma in sociology at the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Latwia. He completed MA studies in Social Research at the University of Warwick in Great Britain. He participated in doctoral studies at the Institute of Sociology and two programs: educational measurement and “SET” (society-environment-technologies). Before starting the MA studies he worked for the research company in Latwia and participated in all the stages of research process in the projects for public sector, private and NGOs.

After receiving MA diploma, he started working for consulting company Databuild in Birmingham as main analyst. He was responsible for the quality management of data, managing the process of gathering the data in qualitative and quantitative research, analysis and reporting. Simultaneously he was responsible for the contact with client in the projects dedicated for, HMRC, the Energy Saving Trust, WRAP i Department for Transport (DfT).

His scientific interests concentrate on the global threats for the environment and economy and the strategy for overcoming the threats on the different levels of society. 
He is a father of Emilia and the basket ball player. In his spare time he also participates in games of KNBA – Krakow Amateur Basque Mainstream.

Weronika Felcis

She graduated from sociology at the Jagiellonian University. She completed the MA program at the Warwick University in Great Britain.

In 2009 she completed in an internship in the National Evaluation Unit, which resulted in the multiple research and publication projects. She participated in Erasmus program in Great Britain. She evaluated strategic management in Latwia with Baltic Institute for Social Science.

She received a scholarhip in the program „Society-Environment-Technology". Since 2013 also Polish-American Foundation of Freedom in the program „PhDo" implemented in Stocznia Foundation.
